Special requirements
Lifting Requirement Justification Workers must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Pasture and fencing work on our operation means regularly lifting and carrying heavy items. These include rolls of fencing wire, posts, gates, water line parts, irrigation equipment, and tools, some of which weigh up to 75 lbs. Workers often have to carry these items by hand over pasture ground to places vehicles cant reach. Drug Screening Justification Random drug testing is required for safety. Workers drive company vehicles, may operate farm tractors and other heavy equipment, and work closely with large livestock. Doing any of these while impaired puts the worker, coworkers, and animals at serious risk. Equipment operator manuals specifically warn against operating under the influence of drugs. Our workers compensation and vehicle insurance carriers also require us to follow safety rules. Impaired judgment or unsafe driving can lead to serious or fatal accidents.
